GEORGE AND EMMA COLE

George and Emma married on 14th July 1847 in Melbourne. They had eleven children.

Emma was registered as Emma Lewis Leeke on their marriage certificate, as well as on their children's birth certificates.

We now believe that she was actually Emma Lewis Smith. Emma arrived in Melbourne during December 1843 aboard the "Imuan of Muscat" in the company of the Blanche family, hence the name of one of her daughters.
